Server Package Details

Every COD4 game server we install comes pre-configured with default config settings and is automatically installed upon completion of your order, meaning it can usually be accessed within a few hours. Once installed, you can then choose to set up your config file using the built in editor within your game server control panel, to ensure your server runs exactly how you want it to.

If you’re bored of playing endless headquarters matches or tired of marathon sabotage sessions on the same old maps, you can choose to liven up your server with some custom maps or game modes. Uploading your chosen custom content to your game server couldn’t be simpler thanks to our control panel giving full file manager access, and allowing the ability to ftp straight to your server’s directory.

That’s not all, our server control panel makes managing your server configs a breeze too, allowing you to upload and manage a number of config files, or edit your live config on the fly thanks to our in built config editor.

Game Details

This is the one... The fourth (not counting expansions) outing for the Call of Duty Series, and without a doubt the most played game in the XTR office :)

Ditching the WW2 format, Modern Warfare is set in a futuristic (yeah right) war in the Middle East. Allowing the player to take control of either US or British forces and go up against a terrorist rebellion, this Call of Duty outing is possibly the realist feeling to date.

Call of Duty 4 oozes features and game play elements you could only dream of, with a newly tweaked ranking system which allows the player to unlock skills and weapons that can be used to create and develop a character suited to any type of game play. This is brought screaming to life as part of the multiplayer element, which allows the user to choose the type of arena they will compete in, with choices including Headquarters, Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy and many more. Additionally these game modes can be further customised, as custom games can be further using a whole host of adjustable factors from allowed weapons to headshot kills only.

Whilst competing in these arenas, players earn points which unlock skills and attributes which further allow the player to customise their chosen class. These can be all kinds of delightful little traits, such as better bullet penetration, more health and last stand, where you can pull out your pistol whilst taking your dying breaths for the final attempt at a kill.
